Year 6

Welcome to 2018 Year 6 parents and children. I hope we will continue to work as hard as we have done in term one. PE for year 6 is still Monday's, can children please bring PE kits in and leave them in school so that they are there when needed. The topics of Africa, World War two and Evolution and inheritance will be taught throughout term two, I hope children will enjoy learning about these topics as I will teaching them.

As part of our Topic this half term ,which is on Africa, Daniel brought in some traditional Africa clothing. He looked very smart and noble. Thank you Daniel. well done also to the other children that spent time creating wonderful projects for both Topic and Science.

Class 6D took part in a parliamentary debate as part of our balanced argument topic. They used items that would be seen within the Houses of Parliament or Houses of Common and debated confidently but respectfully. A special well done to our Speaker of the House Ella Riley. Well Done!
