Year 6

smileyWelcome to Year 6! smiley

This half term we are looking at how World War 2 affected children. This topic will look at the impact war has on children, on both sides and the experience of war from a child's perspective.   In English  we will  look at the Non-Fiction genre- Biography writing. In this unit we will write a Biography based on Anne Frank.

Art this term will look at how artists use different tones and shades of colour to express emotions. We will use the skills developed in these art lessons to make an emotive art piece based on WWII.
